Hold

Overview

  • Hold can be used to pause the Task or Job Order, for a few hours or days due to any reason. You can put the Job Order on hold or a specific task on hold.
  • The hold button for Job order is at the top right corner of the Job Order screen. And the hold button for tasks is in task section. Hold will be functional only after the process has started.
  • The Hold functionality is the same for Job Order and tasks.
  • The same button can be used to Resume the process.
  • When a process is on hold, clicking on the Hold button opens the Hold screen with Resume functionality added.

Note:

  • When hold is resumed, the Timesheet automatically deducts the hold duration from the working hours.
  • When the Job Order is on hold, no task can be put on hold.

Hold Functionality

Step 1: On clicking the Hold button, the Hold popup is displayed.

  • Reason: Select a reason for hold from the dropdown list.
  • Hold On: Select the date and time for hold. Select date with the date picker and fill the time for hold.
  • Comment: Add Comments as required.

Step 2: After the information that is required is keyed in, click on the Confirm button to close the popup.

Resume Functionality

Step 1: When on hold, clicking on the Hold button opens the Hold Screen with Resume functionality along with the hold details.

  • Is Resumed: Turn on the toggle button to set hold status to resumed.
  • Resumed On: Select the date and time for resume. Select date with the date picker and fill the time for resume.
  • Comment: Add Comments as required.

Step 2: After the information that is required is keyed in, click on the Confirm button to close the popup.

Hold History

Hold history shows all the holds for that Job Order. You can view the details for the holds that have been resumed and even the ongoing holds.

Hold History shows the followings details -

  • Reason for Hold: The reason given for the hold.
  • Process: The process for which hold was used.
  • Hold Date: The date and time of the hold start.
  • Hold Comment: Comments added for the hold, if any.
  • Is Resumed: Is the hold resumed or not.
  • Resumed On: The date and time of the hold resumed.
  • Resume Comment: Comment added for resume, if any.
  • Hold Hrs: Total hold duration in hours.
