Cost Card

Overview

Cost Card displays all the costs incurred in the processing of the Job Order. You can view the cost card by clicking on the Cost tab in Job Order Screen. When you go to the Cost tab, the cost of that Order is refreshed automatically and displayed in the cost card. You can use the Recalculate Cost button to calculate the cost.

There are different categories of costs in a Job Order. These costs are listed below -

  • Material Cost(M): Cost of the materials used in the Job Order.
  • Labor Cost(L): The
  • Outsourced(S):
  • Overhead Cost(O):
  • Non-Issue Returns(R):
  • Wastage(A):

Recalculate Cost

You can recalculate the cost by clicking on the Recalculate cost button. You can recalculate cost from Tasks section or from the Job Order header.
On clicking the Recalculate Cost button, a popup is opened.

  • Yes, Proceed: Click on this button to Recalculate cost.
  • Cancel Action: Click on the Cancel button to cancel cost Recalculation.

Cost Card View

You can view the Cost Card in the Cost tab. In the cost card, the data is displayed according to the cost categories. Only those categories are displayed which have any data. For example, the Wastage cost category will be displayed when there is material wastage in the Job Order.

The columns displayed in the cost card are -

  • Type: Shows the cost category.
  • ID: Shows the Id of the material.
  • Description: Gives details about the cost.
  • Consumption: Shows the consumption of materials. For labor, outsourced and overhead Consumption shows the total hours consumed for that task.
  • Unit Cost: Shows the Unit Cost of the data.
  • Total: Shows the total cost for that entry.
