In the Input section, you can add the materials required for the Job Order. The materials can be added using three methods - Auto Generate Plan, Add Stock From BOM, and Add Material.
The user can retrieve the materials list for that Job Order according to the BOM of the Design. Using Auto Generate Plan, the user can get the materials list automatically from the BOM of that design, along with the required quantities.
To automatically generate plan, click on the Auto Generate Plan action button. A Confirm Action popup is opened.
This method also generates the list of materials using the BOM of that Design. The difference from Auto Generate Plan is that in Add Stock From BOM, the user can change the required quantity for each material. This is done for processes where more material is required to complete the process.
For example, in casting, you need to add some extra metal than required for that cast.
On clicking the Add Stock from BOM action button, a popup is opened.
On clicking the Get BOM Materials button, the Materials section shows the list of materials of the BOM.
The materials list shows the Item ID, Item Name, Unit of the item, Required quantity, and allocated quantity.
Required Quantity is the quantity specified in the BOM.
Allocated Quantity is the quantity you want to add for the item. You can change the item quantity required by changing the Allocated Quantity field.
You can remove an item from the list by clicking on the cross button at the end of item row.
This method is can be used to add materials individually, without the BOM.
Material can be added using Add Material method in three different ways -
In the third way, click on the Add Material button without entering anything in the field besides the button. The Select Item popup is opened.
From this list, select the required items and click on Confirm action button to add the items.
